It’s a Wrap

I was so busy this summer that, until this week, I have not only failed to write a single blog post but I also haven’t updated images from this summers wedding shoots.

Every year I shoot several weddings for Norwegian wedding planner who I have been working with for several years. I love my Norwegian weddings because they are generally small weddings and last just a few hours an also. Generally the couples who book me are already married but want a second more traditional and intimate ceremony on the Cote d’Azur.

Unfortunately this year the weather in the South of France wasn’t too great (apart from August) so a couple of the marriages took place on grey and rainy days. In fact the groom from my June wedding told me that they left Norway and 27 degrees and arrived in Nice to rain and 17 degrees. I felt so sorry for them but they took it in their stride in true Nordic fashion.

Roll on season 2019, the bookings are already in :)

Love at the Hotel du Cap

Honeymoon Shoot at the Hotel du Cap

This summer I had the pleasure of shooting at the famous Hotel du Cap in Cap d’Antibes not once but three times. This honeymoon shoot was one of my favourites.

Here from New York, Jeffrey and Samantha were spending two nights at the Hotel before heading off inland to discover some French vineyards. Not a bad way to spend a honeymoon.

It really was a pleasure meeting and photographing them both.

It’s not often that one gets to take professional photos in such a beautiful location, especially as the hotel has a policy of only allowing their official photographer to shoot there. So it appears I was very lucky this summer.
